San Francisco, CA, July 19, 2004 -- Today, World Study Group announced that it will change its name to Intrax Cultural Exchange. "We decided to make this change to more clearly reflect our core mission -- creating dynamic cultural exchange experiences -which is consistent across all of our programs," commented Geoff Watson, Vice President of Marketing. Intrax Cultural Exchange is also introducing a new brand identity, which unifies its three primary programs: Intrax, AuPairCare, and AYUSA.
The name and identity changes represent another step forward for the organization, which was founded almost 25 years ago and has grown steadily to become a world leader in cultural exchange. Intrax Cultural Exchange programs provide cross-cultural experiences to more than 20,000 participants a year from over 80 countries.
The new Intrax Cultural Exchange identity will provide one common "look and feel" for Intrax, AuPairCare, and AYUSA - clearly identifying them as a family of programs, which are all part of the same organization. Intrax Cultural Exchange has also adopted a new corporate tagline -"Connecting People and Cultures" - which communicates the company's mission and the essence of cultural exchange.
